We stayed in the Notre Dame apartment in 2011. The photos of the apartment are quite accurate including the ones showing the amazing views of Notre Dame cathedral which we never tired of. The apartment was very clean, well-equiped and comfortable (the bed was terrific). Thierry was so helpful when we arrived, showing us how to use the washer/dryer and giving us directions to the closest markets, boulangeries and Metro/RER stations. The apartment's great central location allowed us to walk all over Paris and enjoy the city to our hearts' content. We will definitely rent this apartment again if it's available when we return to Paris. Many thanks to Paris Best Lodge!

Thank you yet again for our recent visit to Paris we stayed at the beautiful Notre-Dame apartment. A superb apartment in a magnificent location. As usual PBL was the perfect host and I only wish we could have stayed longer. When next we visit Paris, we will definitely use Paris Best lodge. Best wishes from Darren & Vickie.

Apologies for not writing to you sooner... we have been busy since our return from our wonderful three week stay in Paris, in the Notre Dame apartment. Just wanted to let you know that our stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful. Normally when we stay in Paris, our three requirements when looking for an apartment are comfort, cleanliness and location. This year, because we were celebrating a very special anniversary, we decided to splurge a little, and look for something a little more special. The Notre Dame apartment was the answer, and in fact, it surpassed our expectations in every way. Not only was it super spotless, extremely comfortable, and had a location that could NOT be beat... it was so amazing and so beautiful, that we often found ourselves wanting to stay inside all day. Of course we could not let ourselves do this, but it sure was tempting. And what t a special treat it was when Michel, the owner of the building, stopped by to say hello and offer us a momento, too. What a lovely gesture this was. Thank you also, Thierry, for being so great to work with, and so responsive to every little question we had. You and Lucas were so kind and so helpful. We can't stop thinking about the Notre Dame apartment, although I must add that we have loved every apartment we have ever rented from you. We are so happy to have discovered you! Thank you again, and hopefully, a tres bientot!

We have recently returned from a nice stay in enchanting Paris. During this holiday we stayed at the Notre Dame apartment and it was a most enjoyable stay indeed. The apartment is exactly as it is presented on internet, spacious and comfortable inside and with a wonderful view of Notre Dame Cathedral and we really enjoyed this view. Even though the apartment is situated over some busy shops and restaurants, the double glazing of the windows blocks any noise coming from outside. When you close the windows you are in your own private world. I must say that even the curtains are beautiful and the bed is really big and comfortable. The apartment is situated in such a way that you are not far away from anywhere. And the Latin Quarter. which is right next to the apartment, is so vibrant with life, day and night. We used to enjoy our evenings there and dining out in the quarter is so easy and comfortable.
Our host was always there. He called soon after we arrived and was there whenever we needed him. He made us feel welcome from the very first moment that he entered the apartment. He saw to all our needs and we really owe him a big thank you for all his kind services. We shall definitely return to this apartment and to our charming landlord on our next visit to this romantic city.

My wife and I stayed in the Notre Dame apartment for a wonderful time in May.  This was our 4th visit to Paris but our first in an apartment.  We made the absolute right choice and look forward to staying here again.  We travelled with another couple who stayed in the Fleur de Lys, one floor below us.  Their reaction was like ours – a great way to stay in Paris.  The arrangements provided by www.parisbestlodge.com  were perfect.  Everything was as shown on the website – actually, better.   Some comments about the neighborhood.  About a 100 yards to the north is the Ile de la Cité and the plaza (Parvis) of Notre Dame just across the south branch of the Seine.  The heart of the Latin Quarter is just to your west.  Boulevard St-Germain is nearby to the south.  There are cafés, boulangeries, patisseries, and good restaurants close by.  Each morning, I would head over to Paul’s (patisserie) on Blvd. St-Michel for our breakfast of croissants and other delights.  A number of excellent markets are close by to stock up on picnic items of baguettes, cheeses, grilled sausages, fresh fruit, wine, and pastries for dessert.  We would have our lunch in Square Viviani, a next-door park overlooking Notre Dame where you’ll find the oldest tree in Paris, planted before the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King (wonder if he walked there?). The apartment is located on rue Galande which today is a narrow street with hardly any traffic.  However, in our research for our trip, we learned that rue Galande was a major east-west road during the Roman times (52 BC to 250 AD or so).  It is hard to imagine horse drawn chariots racing by what is now a quiet street on the Left Bank, not far from the famous Shakespeare and Company bookstore. Using any criteria, the Notre Dame and other apartments in 73 rue Galande are highly recommended.

Location, Location, Location. Everything you could ever want on your visit to Paris.  The views of Notre Dame Cathedral from the apartment window are spectacular and you can hear the organ, choir, and bells as if they were in your room. Everything is within walking distance and Metro line is a 5 minute walk. The apartment has all the amenities for perfect vacation. The owner has been most helpful in making sure that is perfect.

My husband and I recently spent a happy time  in Paris in the Notre Dame apartment. It was exactly what we needed for a romantic getaway. It looks too good to be true. However, the photos are accurate. What looks like a wall in the photos is a series of matching closets: two for hanging clothes and one two for shelved clothes. Even the lovely tea set pictured on the website was there, with a very fast tea kettle. The kitchen was clearly new. A petite dishwasher that held about two days of breakfast and snack dishes; a three-burner convection stove, and a little oven.  Although I never made more food than eggs and toast, there was enough equipment in the kitchen to make a full dinner, complete with a nice salad bowl and serving pieces.  The bathroom was also great. The shower in particular was about as big as you would expect on a space shuttle- but it even had a little drying rack somewhat awkwardly positioned over the toilet. I would have found this to be a drawback except that this level of bath appears to be the status quo in these very old buildings. I underestimated how much we would use the washer: we ended up running three very tiny loads of laundry. The property managers were professional, courteous, and returned the deposit before we had even left town. The owner came by in person on the second day to check in with us and make sure we were well settled in.

My husband and I stayed at the Notre Dame apartment for a week to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, blissfully enjoying time together without our small children! The apartment was PERFECT - beautifully decorated, very private, fantastic view of Notre Dame, centrally located...we walked everywhere! I'm not sure if the pictures do it justice. If we ever return to Paris, we will definitely contact Thierry and book one of his fantastic apartments! He was very responsive and helped us when we needed to book an English-speaking taxi for very early in the morning. Thank you, Thierry!

Notre Dame was a perfect romantic retreat for a nice time in Paris! The apartment was exactly as advertised and absolutely wonderful. The view is a "Paris Postcard" and it is walking distance to many Paris sights. Bus and metro transportation are close - wonderful bistros, markets and shopping. We could not have had a more perfect place in Paris. The Latin Quarter is close but not too close - 2 blocks to the action but great sleeping at Notre Dame - we'd love to visit again in the spring!

The Notre Dame apartment was our home during a cold time in winter. The apartment was a wonderful, warm and cosy home. It is a large studio and we never felt cramped. It has every amenity well stocked kitchen, cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer. There are no issues at all about security. And, there is aing a small elevator, for which we were very thankful at the ond of a long day of exploring. It is on a very lively street, but we were never bothered by street noise when the windows were closed. And the view - spectacular. We spent a lot of time just shooting photos from the window.   Within extremely close walking distance are a wonderful bakery, a grocery store, a produce market and a wine shop. Not to mention some fabulous restaurants. We were within easy walking distance of the train station, but you cuold also walk to many places without taking public transport. Notre Dame, obviiously, is a stone's throw. But we also walked to the Louvre, the Marais, St. Germaine des Pres, the Bastille, and other places.   The apartment is well equipped, the bathroom modern, with lots of hot water. We stocked the kitchen, then developed a routine of daily breakfasts of baguette, fruit and coffee, setting our laundry to go while we were out, and taking off for the day.   Arranging the rental was a breeze. PNL made it so simple, from the moment our taxi arrived at the door, it already felt like we were at home. We can't wait to return, and will surely return to the Notre Dame.

Our stay at the Notre Dame apartment was perfect. We loved looking at Notre Dame out our windows. The location is ideal with easy access to restaurants and tourist sights. The apartment was in excellent condition with a computer and Wi-Fi,  exactly as shown on the website. The elevator always worked and we didn't have even have to wait for it. PBL is so easy to work with--no complicated procedures, money transfers etc.  Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay immensely.  This was our first time in Paris and it was a real delight.  As many of you know, the mantra in real estate is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, and this could not be more true with the Notre Dame apartment.  It was only a few days of exploring around Paris to realize that we had found the perfect place for our holiday.  Located in the oldest section of Paris, the Latin Quarter, and just a block away from Notre Dame, the apartment itself is new, very modern, well appointed  and suited our needs perfectly.  I still reminisce of starting the day, pulling the curtains back and taking in the wonderful view of Notre Dame in the background.  It is ideally located between three Metro stops (St. Michel, Cluny and Maubert Mutualite) which makes getting around Paris to all the tourist sites a breeze.  In addition, there are several nice grocery stores, cafes and excellent restaurants, all within a few minutes walk.  I highly recommend Notre Dame apartment for couples wishing to enjoy all that Paris has to offer.
Thanks again!

My husband and I stayed at NOTRE DAME apartment on our honeymoon earlier this month. It was perfect! The view alone is worth it. The location is ideal--right in the middle of the city, very close to metro St. Michel, steps away from amazing food and St. Severin. The interior is a perfect balance of modernity and Parisian charm. iMac computer was extremely useful in planning out our days, and the wireless worked perfectly (also used the wireless for our iPhones). PBL is absolutely great to work with! If we are lucky enough to escape to Paris again, we will definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Notre Dame apartment. I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed Paris, and part of it was the little home that we returned to each night.
If you have a web site guestbook, I will be happy to leave a note there. Otherwise, I will put one on Trip Advisor.
Thank you for your care in making it all work.
