 Dear landlord, we want to say thank you for our wonderful stay at the beautiful Esmeralda apartment, our time there has given us some wondeerful memories especially waking up and looking out and seeing the Notre Dame cathedral right , everything was close by, couldnt believe the Shakespear bookshop was just around the corner! the whole stay was something we will do again as soon as we can, many many thanks!!!!

We (Aussie couple in our 40's) stayed at the Esmerelda apartment at Notre Dame during the spring. The apartment was perfect for our needs, all of the appliances were new and in prefect working order and the owner even came over to show us how to work the washer/drier. The apartment was well appointed, clean, well presented and looked exactly as shown on the website photos. We were offered a number of apartments for our period of stay but it was the view, from the apartment's balcony, of Notre Dame that sold it for us. Oh, and the apartment was only a stone's throw from St Michel station (for both RER and Metro) and it was very close to a large number of cafes and restaurants.
Don't waste your time looking for a hotel, if you're looking for accommodation for two people, I cannot recommend Parisbestlodge any higher and you should definitely consider staying at the Esmerelda.

Our big thanks to Michel for being such a wonderful host! After spending a great time at Esmeralda, we hated to go back home. Waking up to the lovely Notre Dame of Paris was such a dream!!!
The apartment is perfectly located for what we want to do in Paris (wish it was a little warmer during our stay but Paris is wonderful in any weather!!!!) The amenities are perfect - it was quiet and light inspite of being in the middle of winter. Those skylights, the orchids, the paintings and the big chandelier made everything perfect!
Merci encore, Thierry et merci a Michel pour les macarons - il etait une parfait sejour!

We stayed for a wonderful week in the Esmeralda apartment. The location is very convenient for walking the city and access to major train lines. The decor was stylish and unique, all kitchen/bathroom appliances were brand new, the bedding was comfortable, and the view was fantastic. Internet connection was spotty, although there is a nice Mac available for use. Elevator and A/C were essential comforts for a summer stay! I would absolutely recommend this apartment.
