Some excellent adresses just around the corner :

My wife and I made our first visit to Paris in April and I wanted
everything to go smoothly and enjoyably especially our living situation
because we were spending almost 1 month in the City. ParisBestLOdge
made all the logistics of our stay very easy from reserving,
checking in and checking out. The owner was exceptionally responsive to our
emails and texts when we did have questions or the very few times we
needed something. The full-time concierge at the apartment, was
very friendly and helpful and it was good to know she was there if we ever
needed help. The apartment itself was very comfortable with all brand new
furnishings and amenities which made it feel very homey from our first day
of arrival. The bedroom was perfect for the two of us with enough space to
comfortably unpack all of our clothes and other stuff. The location was
very quiet and conducive to sleeping late , probably a few too many times
with all the sights to see. There was a great outside terrace off the
kitchen that settled me on picking the Matisse, it was very nice (and felt
very Parisian) to have wine and cheese and quietly read a book. The living
room had the most comfortable pull out bed (much better than what you
encounter in the US) and worked well when our son joined us for a week. We
actually ate in the apartment more then we had planned and the kitchen was
well stocked and all the appliances the latest models and very urban chic.
The washer/dryer combination was a great convenience since we had only
each brought carry-on luggage and frequently did laundry.I also have to
say that the wifi in the apartment was the best we encountered in France
and we were able to watch Netflix on the very good TV in the apartment.
As for the neighborhood, it is very centrally located, a short walk to the
Louvre, across the street from the Musee Orsay and just about any Metro
line you would need go anywhere in Paris. It made sightseeing very easy
and the nearby Orsay station had the RER C which was the quickest way
(fewer stops) to get to the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Notre Dame and
elsewhere. Because it is across the street from the Orsay there are always
taxis cruising down the street. Eric Kayser Boulangerie, the ATM machine a
few small convenience type stores and the MonoPrix are close by for those
quick shopping trips and to get your daily baguettes and croissants. If
you are a walker just a few minutes past the Monoprix on Rue de Bac across
Blvd St Germain are classic French stores, butcher shop, fish store and
some other smaller specialty shops. A lot of cafes are within walking
distance and some very good restaurants. It was all a great time and we
would highly recommend the apartment, ParisBestLodge and the location.
