Since
about thirty years, Fiac gathers galleries of the world to light the
artistic tendencies most contemporary. The edition 2005 invites 220
galleries representing more than 3000 artists. Several topics sign this
year this great international appointment : The classical Modern
enhances the best-known values : Simon Hantaï, Olivier
Debré, Paul Rebeyrolle, Karel Appel, Pierre Alechinsky,
Valério Adami. More historical tendencies henceforth are
also interpreted : Dada with the gallery 1900-2000, Arte Povera,
kinetic art, hypperealism, rough art, Corbusier, Frank Lloyd
Wright. The new contemporary fashion confirm the choices of the
galleries of St-Germain des Prés but also those of the
prestigious galleries of California. Hall 5 is looking like an
experimental laboratory. Installed under a banner entitled Future
Quake, very young galleries of less than 3 years, clear new
inspirations. A floor is dedicated to the design, another one for
the edition of multiples and prints. Official partner of Fiac
2005, Citroen flatters his famous DS revealed in the Show Car 1955 in
an exceptional exposure recalling the special link between the mark
with the rafters and the automobile design.
