New exhibition in St-Germain des Pres, this initiative presents rising
generation of Indian artists still unknown in France inside the
official School of the Art schools. A score of artists already famous
since years 1990 were selected for the event. All the
médiums are used, painting, sculpture and video high-tech. The
major topics which worry the Indian society of today are found in these
contemporary icons : The phantasm of Bollywood, religious tensions,
speed modernism of the country, as well as more ordinary subjetcs such
as the telephone or ecological
degradations. The selected
artists come from all the areas of India, in particular of Delhi,
